Earlier this afternoon Tennessee Titans' QB Jake Locker left the field to have his left shoulder looked at following a sack from Quin Glover, which the QB didn't see coming. He is officially listed as 'questionable' by the team, but reports from the stadium have Locker sitting on the Titans' bench, out of uniform, and wearing a sling on his left arm.
Jake Locker injury: Titans quarterback officially listed as ‘questionable’
Following the second injury to his left shoulder this season, Jake Locker’s return is questionable
Without Locker, Tennessee are relying on 37-year-old veteran Matt Hasselbeck to perform this week against the Houston Texans. As it stands he's completed 5-of-7 passes, for 82 yards and a touchdown. The Titans are currently trailing by a score of 14-to-7.
This was to be Jake Lockers' season to shine. Last year he played understudy to Hasselbeck for much of the year, and thus far in his first year as a starter he has struggled with his left shoulder. Facing the San Diego Chargers in week two he left the game due to injury, and today's sack may have exacerbated the injury.
