Having finally gotten his season going after an underwhelming first few games, the last thing Baltimore Ravens running back Justin Forsett needed was an ankle injury. But that’s what he got late in Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, as Forsett tweaked his ankle late in regulation and misses all of overtime in the Ravens’ 33-30 loss.
Justin Forsett tweaks ankle late Sunday; fantasy value in limbo
The running back had a productive game, but missed overtime with an ankle injury. We break down the fantasy implications.

Forsett had 21 carries for 121 yards and a touchdown Sunday, adding in four catches for 49 yards. After 14 combined fantasy points the season’s first three weeks, Forsett had 15 in Week 4 and 22 Sunday, getting his season back on the right track. With backup running back Lorenzo Taliaferro out for Sunday’s game, Buck Allen handled backup duties, carrying the ball eight times for 58 yards.
Fantasy impact: The ankle injury came on a long Forsett run near the end of the fourth quarter. It didn’t look serious, but until more comes out on the injury (likely Monday), we don’t know for sure. Assuming Forsett is back for Baltimore’s Week 6 game against the San Francisco 49ers, he’ll be a top option. If he were to miss the game, Allen and Taliaferro (if the latter is healthy) would likely split carries.
