Buffalo Bills running back Karlos Williams will miss his second straight game Sunday as he deals with a concussion. The Bills will, however, get running back LeSean McCoy back on the field for the first time since Week 3 as they host the Cincinnati Bengals at 1 p.m. ET.
Karlos Williams out again for Bills, fantasy owners; LeSean McCoy expected to return
One Buffalo running back is out for Sunday’s game, but another is expected to make his return. We break down the fantasy implications.

The rookie Williams has had a strong start to his career, with 272 yards from scrimmage and four touchdowns in four games. McCoy, meanwhile, has been quieter, with 229 yards and only one score in three games played. With both players out in Week 5, the Bills leaned on Dan Herron (nine rushes for 28 yards) and Anthony Dixon (seven for 19) in their win over the Tennessee Titans.
Fantasy impact: The concussion came at the worst possible time for Williams, as he had been going through a great start to his career, with one touchdown in every game he played. Even with McCoy returning, Williams showed enough over the first month of the season to warrant regular usage once he’s passed through the league’s concussion protocol.
As for McCoy, the veteran back isn’t fully healthy yet as he deals with the same hamstring issues that have been nagging him all season. Regardless, McCoy was healthy enough that the Bills would rather go with him than risk the Herron/Dixon duo again, and a McCoy that plays should be a McCoy that plays a lot. He’ll be a decent RB2 in his return to action.
