The Chicago Bears and Jay Cutler lost their greatest target earlier this week when Alshon Jeffery was suspended for four games for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. On Sunday, the Bears lost another in tight end Zach Miller.
Zach Miller out for the Bears’ season with a broken foot
Jason Pierre-Paul stepped on it, causing the injury.

Miller left the Bears’ game against the New York Giants with a foot injury just before the end of the first half. As it turns out, Miller is out for the season with a broken foot, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
The veteran tight end suffered the injury when Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul stepped on his foot during a play. Pierre-Paul weighs in at 278 pounds, so it’s not very surprising it had this effect on Miller.
Miller had 44 receptions this season for 425 yards and three touchdowns. He was first on the team in receptions and receiving touchdowns, and second in receiving yards.
