The Ravens lost on Sunday to the 9-1 Cowboys, and Joe Flacco was adamant that Baltimore should have beaten Dallas.
Joe Flacco insists the Ravens should have beaten the Cowboys
Flacco said he was confident going into the game that Baltimore would win.

“We should beat this team,” Flacco said after the loss. “We should beat this team. I’m not kidding. I felt very confident coming into this game, and I really feel like we should beat this team.”
Baltimore put up just 17 points, and Flacco said he believes the offense is capable of much more.
“I felt like we should be able to score a lot more points than we did today,” Flacco said. “There are obviously reasons for it. We’ll go back and look at the film, because the reality of it is that we didn’t. But I felt like we could have.”
Baltimore committed 12 penalties for 136 yards, which was a problem for the Ravens. They managed to convert just three of nine third-down conversion attempts.
The Ravens went into the half with some momentum and tied with the Cowboys, 10-10, but Dallas scored every time it got the ball in the second half, and the Ravens failed to answer.
“You’ve got to give them credit,” Flacco said. “They scored every time they got the ball, and when it’s that kind of game, we have to do the same thing.”
Flacco clearly feels strongly about the fact that the Ravens should have beaten the Cowboys, but Dallas has won nine straight, and beating the Cowboys is no easy feat this season. Baltimore falls to 5-5, but the Ravens remain on top of the AFC North.
