Ryan Mathews injury update: RB questionable for Eagles, fantasy owners [Update]
This could be the week Ryan Mathews returns to the Eagles’ backfield.

The Philadelphia Eagles are listing Ryan Mathews as questionable for Week 14 vs. Washington.
It looks like Mathews will make his return this week after missing the previous two games with a knee injury. In 10 games this season, the seventh-year running back has 102 runs for 427 yards and seven touchdowns. He also has 11 catches for 94 yards and one score.
Even when healthy, Mathews has seldom been a good fantasy option this year, so do not expect that to change now that the fantasy playoffs are here. Expect him to be in a committee with Wendell Smallwood, Darren Sproles, and Kenjon Barner vs. Washington.
Fantasy Impact: If Mathews is active, Yahoo! ranks him as the 38th-best running back in Week 14. He would face a Washington defense allowing the fourth-most fantasy points to running backs this season.
Even with a good matchup, keep Mathews on the bench this week.
