The Dallas Cowboys will be without wide receiver and return specialist Lucky Whitehead for a Week 14 game against the New York Giants after he missed a meeting Saturday.
Lucky Whitehead didn’t travel with the Cowboys because he kept missing meetings
Missed meetings have reportedly been a “constant issue” for Lucky Whitehead.

Nick Eatman of DallasCowboys.com first reported Saturday that Whitehead wouldn’t make the road trip, but NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport revealed Sunday morning that the reason Whitehead was left in Dallas was because missed meetings have been a “constant issue” for the second-year player.
Whitehead, 24, was an undrafted free agent in 2015 but made the team and has been used more as a gadget-type runner than a receiver. Through 12 games, he has rushed eight times for 86 yards, while he has only caught two passes for 40 yards.
His main contributions are as a returner, where he has 8.8 yards per punt return and 23.8 yards per kick return.
In Whitehead’s absence, the Cowboys will likely turn to Morris Claiborne and/or Cole Beasley to handle return duties against the Giants.
