Harry Douglas’ cheap shot on Chris Harris leads to Aqib Talib starting Broncos vs. Titans fight

Harry Douglas dove at the knees of Chris Harris, leading to some retaliation on the next play.

Denver Broncos cornerback Chris Harris Jr. suffered a knee injury in Week 14 caused by Tennessee Titans wide receiver Harry Douglas. Aqib Talib retaliated against the receiver, sparking a brawl between the teams.

Douglas was not penalized for his hit, but replay showed him diving at the knee of Harris on a 6-yard run to the opposite side of the field.

Harris later returned to the field during the second quarter, but on the play following the cheap shot, Talib went after Douglas on the sideline. The scuffle resulted in a 15-yard penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct for Talib and a fight between the two teams on the Tennessee sideline.

After the game, Harris took to Twitter to express relief that he had not been seriously injured.

The Titans jumped out to 13-0 lead over the Broncos in the first half, and Tennessee held on to beat the Broncos with a final score of 13-10. Douglas recorded just one reception for 10 yards.
