The Los Angeles Rams couldn’t get out of their own way on the first play of the game against the Atlanta Falcons.
Rams can’t stop turning the ball over to the Falcons
Los Angeles turned the ball over twice in the first five minutes of the game. Jared Goff add a pick-six in the second quarter.

The Rams received the opening kickoff, and return specialist Mike Thomas muffed the kick.
But he didn’t just muff the kick. It glanced off of his hands and rolled out of the end zone, and Falcons linebacker Paul Worrilow was able to recover the ball on the Los Angeles 3-yard line.
Atlanta’s high-scoring offense took the field, and Matt Ryan connected on a 3-yard pass to wide receiver Justin Hardy on the first play. Matt Bryant’s PAT was good, giving Atlanta a 7-0 lead with just 10 seconds off the clock.
The Rams weren’t done making life easier for Atlanta. After a drive that got Los Angeles into the red zone, Jared Goff tried to hit Kenny Britt on third-and-3. The pass bounced off of Britt’s hands and directly into the waiting arms of Falcons free safety Ricardo Allen.
It was, to say the least, not a good start for the Rams.
And that’s not all! Goff made this ill-advised throw in the second quarter, trying to find Todd Gurley who was nowhere near where Goff threw it. Deion Jones picked it off and returned it for a touchdown. d
That pick made it 21-0, but who knows where this ends!
