The Miami Dolphins had what seemed like a long, tough Sunday afternoon, but were able to pull out a 26-23 win over the Arizona Cardinals.
Dolphins beat the Cardinals with a game-winning field goal under sheets of rain
It was a hard-earned victory.

The Dolphins led going into the fourth quarter, but the Cardinals made a push with two touchdowns, one of which had the extra point blocked and taken back for two points to make it a 23-15 Dolphins lead. The Cardinals would eventually tie the game at 23-apiece.
In a game when they lost starting quarterback Ryan Tannehill to a knee injury, and both teams were dealing with ridiculously rainy conditions, Matt Moore came in and led the Dolphins on a drive to set them up for a game-winning field goal.
The drive took a minute and a half on six plays. On the fifth play, the Dolphins ran Damien Williams. Cardinals linebacker Kevin Minter lost his helmet and still dove to make a play.
Fortunately for the Dolphins, they were able to get a timeout in with just one second left on the clock, and kick the game winning field goal.
The win puts the Dolphins at 8-5 on the year, and in great position heading into Week 15 in an effort to claim one of the AFC’s Wild Card spots.
Before exiting the game, Tannehill completed 15 of 20 passes for 195 yards and three touchdowns against just one interception. Moore finished completing 3 of 5 passes for 47 yards on the game.
The victory certainly has to serve as a great confidence booster for Moore, depending on how much the Dolphins may or may not need him moving forward.
