Randall Cobb returns to game after being carted off with an injury in Seahawks vs. Packers

The Packers catch a break.

The Green Bay Packers are at home playing against the Seattle Seahawks, fighting for their playoff lives. Early in the second quarter, Randall Cobb was injured and had to be carted off of the field.

The Packers ruled Cobb as questionable to return with an ankle injury. Prior to being carted off, Cobb was seen on the sideline trying to put weight on the leg. After receiving treatment, Cobb returned to the sideline, then he got back onto the field.

Coming into Sunday, Cobb had 57 receptions for 577 yards and four touchdowns. He scored one of the Packers’ three touchdowns last week against the Texans in their 21-13 victory.

Cobb has been one of Aaron Rodgers’ favorite targets throughout his career, and against a stout defensive team like the Seahawks, Cobb’s absence would have been a huge loss. Luckily for the Packers, he was fine.
