Sunday’s game was Vereen’s first back on the field after being placed on injured reserve with a torn triceps in September.
Prior to leaving, Vereen had one reception for 10 yards. He was injured during the play and walked directly to the locker room after exiting the field.
The Giants trail the Cowboys 7-0 in the second quarter.
