For once, Dez Bryant wishes he hadn’t caught it. He was held without a reception against the New York Giants on Sunday night until late, when Dak Prescott hit him over the middle for an apparent first down.

Dez Bryant caught it, then immediately fumbled, potentially costing the Cowboys their game against the Giants.
Unfortunately for the Cowboys, Bryant was stripped on the play. The Cowboys were down 10-7 at the time.
The play was reviewed since the fumble occurred very soon after the catch was made. It was close, but Bryant takes a step or two after getting the ball, thus establishing possession.
On the Cowboys’ last shot, Bryant was initially credited with a 17-yard catch on fourth down. However, after a review, the call was reversed and the Giants kneeled down for the win.
It just wasn’t Bryant’s night.
