It looks like Adrian Peterson is making his return to the Minnesota Vikings in Week 15. On Friday, Peterson told Dash Radio he is playing Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy implications of Adrian Peterson saying he’ll play vs. Colts
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson says he will make his return this Sunday when Minnesota hosts Indianapolis.

Last week, the Vikings designated Peterson as their player to return from injured reserve. That means Peterson can play in games ASAP. He has been on IR since Week 2 when he suffered a torn meniscus, but it looks like he will be back in action very soon.
Fantasy Impact: The Vikings have struggled mightily running the ball this year, so Peterson could be in for a nice workload in his first game back. Matt Asiata and Jerick McKinnon have both struggled to do anything, and Asiata is questionable this week with an ankle injury.
This makes Peterson a worthy addition to your fantasy team, but do not start him this week. It is far too risky to start him in the fantasy playoffs until he shows he can still produce coming off a long layoff.
