Matt Forte is dealing with an assortment of injuries heading down the stretch of this season.

Forte is battling a knee and shoulder injury that has kept him from practicing this week. He revealed last week that a torn meniscus is something Forte has played through this season.
It is hard to see Forte suiting up again this season with the Jets eliminated from playoff contention, not to mention Bilal Powell having played great over the past few weeks. He accounted for 84 rushing yards to go with 11 catches for 78 yards in last week’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.
Fantasy Impact: Powell is likely getting the bulk of the carries against the Patriots this week and vs. the Buffalo Bills in Week 17. He is a low-end RB2 this week.
You can also safely drop Forte in all leagues now. His season appears to be over.
