The Philadelphia Eagles have ruled out Ryan Mathews for Week 13 against the Cincinnati Bengals.
Ryan Mathews injury update: Eagles RB out vs. Bengals, for fantasy owners
No Ryan Mathews means more work for Wendell Smallwood and Darren Sproles.

As expected, Philadelphia will be without its starting running back for a second straight game due to his knee injury. Even when healthy, Mathews has rarely been a reliable fantasy option in 2016, so this injury could the final excuse you need to cut him heading into the fantasy playoffs.
In 10 games this season, Mathews has 102 rushes for 427 yards and seven scores. He has also caught 11 passes for 94 yards and one score. He can safely be dropped.
Fantasy Impact: As long as Mathews is out, he is giving more ground to Wendell Smallwood, Darren Sproles and Kenjon Barner to take his work. In Mathews’s absence last week, Smallwood got the start and split work with Sproles. Expect to see those two continue to get close to a 50-50 split vs the Bengals.
