Former Notre Dame quarterback Gunner Kiel’s list of transfer options includes three SEC teams, according to a report from ESPN’s Joe Schad. Mississippi State, Ole Miss, and Tennessee are among a list of options for Kiel, and both Mississippi schools have already contacted him.
3 SEC teams among Gunner Kiel’s claimed transfer options
The former Notre Dame quarterback is searching for a new home, and three SEC teams are in the hunt for his services.

Kiel was visiting with Cincinnati over the weekend, and is also reportedly interested in Kansas State, Ball State, Northern Illinois, and Miami of Ohio. He's transferring away from South Bend after only one year after failing to beat out Everett Golson for the starting job with the Fighting Irish.
Kiel’s path to college football was already a long and winding one before he signed with Notre Dame. The former five-star prospect committed to Indiana and LSU before settling on the Irish, a move that LSU head coach Les Miles was bent out of shape over for quite some time.
