No. 12 LSU never trailed in its opening night victory over No. 20 TCU Saturday, but it was a thrilling matchup that saw two of the top defenses in the country go at it in an early season showdown.
LSU vs. TCU 2013 video highlights: Tigers ward off Frogs thanks to strong defense, big plays
The No. 12 Tigers took home a big win Saturday against another ranked opponent.

After the teams scored a combined three field goals in the first quarter (with LSU on top 6-3), the Tigers got in the endzone first on a one-yard touchdown run by J.C. Copeland. Tiger fans were pleased.
B.J. Catalon took the ensuing kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, making the score 13-10 LSU. TCU fans were also pleased, and possibly very drunk.
LSU held on to a 16-10 lead heading into the half, and broke the game open at the start of the third when Terrence Magee ran 52 yards for a huge score.
It was the first of Magee’s two touchdown runs in the quarter, and it would help seal the Tiger win. LSU held the TCU offense to just 259 yards of total offense. The Tigers were able to put up 448 yards of offense of their own against the vaunted Horned Frog defense.
