The final BCS National Championship Game may have been the best one yet. In what was an incredible 60 minutes of football, a last-minute touchdown drive from Florida State and Heisman winner Jameis Winston gave the Seminoles a stunning 34-31 victory over Auburn.

Jameis Winston’s late touchdown toss to Kelvin Benjamin made Florida State national champions for the first time since 1999.
With Florida State trailing 31-27, Winston connected with Kelvin Benjamin over the middle of the end zone. The thousands of Seminoles in attendance at the Rose Bowl went nuts.
Auburn got the football back with a couple of seconds left, but they weren’t able to do much of anything as the clock struck zero. The Seminoles rushed onto the field as confetti filled the Pasadena sky.
What a game. This is the final college football game for nine months, and it’ll certainly give us something to talk about for a long, long time. And to end the BCS era – one that will be remembered with incredible drama (and a sprinkle of controversy) – it was a fitting way to send us into the College Football Playoff in 2015.
