Trend: Temple is 12-0 ATS in its last 12 games.

Wake Forest’s strength was in its defense this season, ranking 20th in the nation in scoring defense allowing 21.8 points per game and 50th in rushing defense allowing 155.9 yards per game. But on offense, the Demon Deacons ranked an abysmal 125th in total yards with 307 per game and 121st in scoring with 19.3 points per game.

The Demon Deacons ended the regular season with a 6-6 SU and 7-5 ATS record and are 6-0 ATS in their last six games in the month of December.

The total for the game is set at 40.5 points. The UNDER is 5-0 in Temple’s last five games overall.

Both of these teams enter the Military Bowl with strong defenses, but only Temple has a good offense to go along with it. Wake Forest has a chance at covering the spread if this game turns out to be a defensive showdown, but Temple’s playmaking and consistency should eventually put the Owls over the top in this one.
