Ben Roethlisberger Status Update: Steelers Quarterback Will Start

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hurt his foot in last weeks loss to the Houston Texans. Early on in the week he was seen wearing a protective boot and many feared his foot was broken. It turns out however, that the injury was simply just a bruise or a sprain to his foot, the team never clarified what exactly the injury is.

Roethlisberger practiced in full all week and is officially listed as probable on the injury report. It's virtually a guarantee Roethlisberger will play, but how effective he will be is another question. He's going against the top ranked defense in the Tennessee Titans this week, and newly signed Max Starks is slated to start at left tackle. Starks was let go earlier in the year and was rumored to be severely out of shape, so Roethlisberger's foot injury could limit his typical fantastic escapability.
