Ben Roethlisberger Injury: Steelers QB Practices, Expected To Play

Ben Roethlisberger will start Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, according to Mike Bires of the Beaver County Times. Roethlisberger was a full participant in practice Thursday despite a sprained foot suffered during last week's loss to the Houston Texans. He is reportedly "full systems go" according to Bires.

The news wasn’t entirely unexpected. When an MRI taken Monday revealed that there was no fracture in his left foot, few expected the tough-as-nails QB to sit out.

Still, Roethlisberger's healthy outlook is great news for the Pittsburgh Steelers, who will face a Titans defense giving up a league-low 14 points per game. Roethlisberger will have his work cut out for him against a secondary that has allowed just one touchdown pass this year, compared to five passes picked off.
