Wells has struggled through an injury plagued season, averaging only 2.4 yards per carry entering Sunday’s game, but was able to take advantage of a game full of Lions turnovers to punch in three touchdowns. Wells ran for two touchdowns in the second quarter and broke off a 31-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter.
Fantasy Impact: Wells is rewarding any owners who have stuck with him during this important week of the fantasy playoffs. There wasn’t a lot of reason to trust him coming into this game, but he performed better than anyone could have expected.
Just don't count on a repeat performance against the Bears next week.
