Doug Martin has successful fantasy performance
Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Doug Martin was held out of the end zone, but had an otherwise solid performance. We break down the fantasy implications.
Martin bounced back from the worst game of his career last week against the Saints. He was held to 35 total yards against New Orleans, but had 119 against the Rams. He also went over 1,300 rushing yards on the season on Sunday.
Fantasy Impact: Martin was held out of the end zone, but still contributed for fantasy owners, particularly those in PPR leagues with his career-high seven receptions.
Martin's season stats are a bit skewed by his huge 250 yard, four touchdown performance against the Raiders in Week 9, but he still had a strong rookie season. He is certainly a RB1 and will be picked in the first or second round in most leagues next season.
