Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams had his best game of the season on Sunday, but it was not enough for the Bucs, who lost to the Rams 28-13. Williams caught seven passes for 132 yards and a touchdown, recording season-highs in both receptions and yards.
Mike Williams has giant game for fantasy owners
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Williams had a huge game in the Bucs loss. We break down the fantasy implications.
Williams cracked the 100-yard mark for the first time since Oct. 14. He now has 931 yards on the season and needs 69 in the Bucs’ final game to get to 1,000 on the season.
Fantasy Impact: Williams caught a 61-yard score in the fourth quarter that did nothing to alter the outcome of the game, but paid off big time for fantasy owners.
With the addition of Vincent Jackson, Williams is the No. 2 receiver in Tampa now, but he can still put up big numbers on nights like Sunday when he was targeted an incredible 17 times.
