Frank Gore offers little fantasy value in first half vs. Dolphins
San Francisco 49ers running back Frank Gore has offered little to fantasy owners in the first half against the Miami Dolphins.

Gore is not playing poorly, with 5.2 yards per carry, but hasn’t had many chances to touch the ball. It has been a defensive battle in San Francisco, but the 49ers will surely try to get Gore more involved in the second half. A single touchdown would turn Gore’s day into a success. He has seven touchdowns on the season, and three in the last four weeks.
Fantasy Impact: Granted he only has five carries, but Gore’s 5.2 yards per carry is his best average since Oct. 18. Expect the 49ers to turn a bit more to the ground game in the second half and try to get Gore going.
There is a lot of game left and fantasy owners shouldn’t be panicking too much ... yet.
