Ed Reed is active for Sunday's game between the Baltimore Ravens and the Philadelphia Eagles. Reed suffered a hamstring injury during last week's season debut against the Cincinnati Bengals after returning an interception for a touchdown. He is not officially expected to be limited in any way.

Fantasy Impact: Reed is one of the NFL’s all-time great ball hawks, and that makes him worth fantasy consideration as an IDP despite his age. He isn’t a very good source of tackles from the free safety spot, however, so you’ll have to hope for greatness every week if he becomes a regular part of your fantasy lineup. His presence certainly gives the Ravens a major boost as a team defense option, however.
