Week 6 of the 2017 regular season is just about coming to a close with the Monday Night game remaining. Most fantasy football leagues will run their waiver wires late Tuesday or early Wednesday, but we are here to help you get a jump on the best options to consider.

We will be ranking the top five players likely to be available in your league at each of the four major positions. Some weeks there might not be five good options available, but we’ll scour for the best we can find. Additionally, throughout the week, we will update each of these articles as ownership percentages change and news arrives. The following ownership percentages come via CBS Sportsline entering Week 6.
Austin Hooper (64 percent owned)
With Mohamed Sanu sidelined, Hooper has seen a spike in targets, which has resulted in his two best games, reception-wise, of the season. Realistically, they’re his two best games, considering his big game in Week 1 was the result of one long, fluky touchdown reception. In the past two weeks, Hooper has 12 catches (on 16 targets) for 98 yards. He is finally rounding into form as a weekly start candidate.
Zach Miller, Chicago Bears (24)
Miller found the end zone for the second straight week, and is becoming a favorite of rookie quarterback Mitchell Trubisky — although his touchdown on Sunday came via a halfback option pass by Tarik Cohen. Still, 10 targets in two weeks and two touchdowns makes for a nice bye-week fill-in.
It’s not a fluke. After last week’s 7-83-1 line, Kittle had another eight targets against Washington, turning them into a 4-46 line. Kittle and C.J. Beathard had plenty of time together in the preseason and appeared to be on the same page again Sunday. He’s a fine option as a fill-in or streamer.
Ryan Griffin, Houston Texans (13)
Griffin was much more involved on Sunday against a team notorious for allowing production to tight ends. He finished with three catches for 52 yards and caught a two-point conversion. He is matchup dependent, but the Texans have some soft TE matchups on the horizon, so Griffin has bye-week value.
All he does is catch touchdowns. Literally. Fells has four receptions over the past two weeks, but three have gone for six points. If you feel lucky, Fells is the new Microwave in Detroit.
