Teams are at practice, and that means injury reports are slowly arriving. Cam Newton continues practicing and is all set to start this week against the San Francisco 49ers. That was not really in doubt. More important might be that Tyrod Taylor cleared the concussion protocol and should be good to go this weekend for the Buffalo Bills. That bodes well for him, Jordan Matthews, LeSean McCoy, and plenty of others.
The War Room is wrapping up our August/September draft schedule this week. We will be operating from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET Monday through Wednesday this week. For the Thursday kickoff opener, we’ll move to our 4-8:30 p.m. hours.
