I could quibble with Joe Sheehan's amateur meteorology — Hurricane Irene's been around for about a week, which isn't that long in terms of tropical cyclones — but that A.J. Burnett comparison's pretty good. Especially, of course, considering that New Yorkers will probably milk Irene underperforming for jokes for some time to come.
