Heat Vs. Spurs Score: Miami Getting Run Out Of The Building After First Quarter, 36-12
How bad is it? Matt Bonner, a reserve for the Spurs, has 12 points off the bench, equaling the Miami Total. Manu Ginobili has 11 points and Tim Duncan has five as the Heat have no answer for the San Antonio offense and no ability to score on their own offensive end. Duncan also has a game-high seven rebounds, with DeJuan Blair adding five more.
Wade has a team-high five bounds, with Bosh adding four points and seven rebounds to the mix. James has two points of his own, but hasn’t registered a rebound and has just one assist. Mike Miller is the only other player to score for the Heat, with one point in the first quarter.
Miami shot 22.2 percent from the field, and 25 percent from three-point range, but did hit all three of its free throws. San Antonio, on the other hand, is shooting 50 percent from the field and 77.7 percent behind the arc.
After an ugly first quarter, the Miami Heat have a hole to dig out of as they try to find some semblance of an offense.
