The Maryland Terrapins owned nearly everything about the first half of their season opener against the Miami Hurricanes. And yet, until the final minute they didn't even own the score board itself, which is probably owned by Under Armour.

Miami is down only 20-14 at the break despite being outgained by 130 yards, and of course that's all Gary Crowton's fault. Well, not really. While the Terps have used a full suite of screen passes, three Danny O'Brien passes from within the five yard line wound up tipped or intercepted.
This game could very easily feature a three-touchdown edge for the Terps already, and if not for a freak play, Miami would be winning. Maryland dfensive lineman Joe Vellano ripped the football right out of Lamar Miller's hands as the first half came to a close, rumbling in for the touchdown.
