After a Tim Tebow touchdown gave the Denver Broncos a 7-3 lead in the third quarter, the San Francisco 49ers - with a little luck and some of its best offensive football of the season - have stormed back to take a 17-10 lead in London.

Troy Smith, who scored on a one-yard run to tie the game up at 10 earlier in the fourth quarter, found Michael Crabtree for a 28-yard scoring strike, securing San Francisco’s first lead since going up 3-0 in the first half.
Broncos quarterback Kyle Orton was sacked and fumbled on the ensuing possession, which was recovered by Niners linebacker Takeo Spikes. Frank Gore took the rock in from three yards out to extend the lead to 24-10 on a drive that started from Denver’s 18-yard line.
Smith, making his first start with the 49ers, has completed 12 of 19 passes for 196 yards, with the throwing score to Crabtree and the rushing score. Gore has added 118 yards on the ground.
Orton and Denver take over down two scores, but with less than four minutes remaining.
