Aaron Rodgers Cleared To Play This Week Against The Giants
... he has passed all the requisite cognitive tests and been cleared by both team physician Dr. John Gray and an independent neurologist, clearing the way for him to return to action for Sunday’s must-win game against the New York Giants at Lambeau Field.
Getting Rodgers back will be a real boost for the Packers and their playoff chances. The easiest way for the Packers to make the playoffs is to defeat the Giants this weekend and then beat the Chicago Bears on Jan. 2nd.
This was Rodgers’ second concussion of the season, adding to the typical level of concern. Rodgers suffered the concussion after taking a shot to the head while scrambling down the middle of the field.
