Aaron Rodgers Listed As ‘Probable’ To Play Against New York Giants

The Green Bay Packers are fighting for their lives for a playoff berth. At 8-6, they have no chance of winning the NFC North, and they will need a win against the 9-5 New York Giants this weekend to take one of the two wild card spots.

Luckily, it looks like it’s pretty much a done deal that they will have their quarterback under center. Aaron Rodgers was listed as probable on the team’s injury report, and he is expected to play in the game. He has practiced in each of the last three days after being cleared to play earlier in the week.

Rodgers suffered a concussion in the Packers’ loss to the Detroit Lions two weeks ago and did not play against the New England Patriots last weekend. Backup Matt Flynn put forth a valiant effort in Rodgers’ absence, but could not finish off the Patriots on the road. This will be Rodgers’ second concussion of the season after suffering one in overtime against the Washington Redskins in Week 5.
