Aaron Rodgers Listed As ‘Probable’ To Play Against New York Giants
The Green Bay Packers are fighting for their lives for a playoff berth. At 8-6, they have no chance of winning the NFC North, and they will need a win against the 9-5 New York Giants this weekend to take one of the two wild card spots.
Luckily, it looks like it’s pretty much a done deal that they will have their quarterback under center. Aaron Rodgers was listed as probable on the team’s injury report, and he is expected to play in the game. He has practiced in each of the last three days after being cleared to play earlier in the week.

After Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers sustained a concussion during last Sunday’s game against the Lions, the team was unsure of whether he’d be able to start this coming Sunday against the Patriots. Rodgers remained in the game for several plays after taking the hit that caused his concussion. He took a sack after a Green Bay timeout, handed off, and tossed a dump-off pass. This is his second concussion of the season -- the first came in week six against the Miami Dolphins.
Before leaving the game Rodgers was seven of 11 for 46 yards and a pick, his first in five games. He had also rushed twice for 25 yards.
