Michael Vick Injury Keeps Him Out Of Eagles Practice Wednesday

Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick was banged up in the loss to the Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday night and early indications are that he won't play next week against the Dallas Cowboys. The Eagles are locked into the third seed in the NFL playoff picture so they may be resting players anyway but Andy Reid suggested this week that Vick's injury may keep him out even if the game head meaning.

The Eagles didn’t practice Wednesday because of the Tuesday night game against the Vikings but they were still required to issue an estimated practice report and placed Vick under “did not practice”.

We can’t glean much from Vick’s absence considering the Eagles didn’t even practice but it sure doesn’t seem like he’ll be playing this weekend. It also doesn’t seem like many of the non-injured Eagles starters will be playing.

The Eagles play the Cowboys this weekend and they are currently locked into the third seed in the NFL playoffs unable to move up or down so the game has no bearing on the NFL playoff picture.
