As expected, Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick will not play in today’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. Vick was banged up last week, suffering a minor quad injury, and had a very short week to recover, so Philly’s playing it safe and holding him out of a game they don’t need to win. Vick missed practice throughout the week.

Vick also missed a handful of games in midseason with a chest injury.
WR DeSean Jackson, RB LeSean McCoy, DE Trent Cole, CB Asante Samuel, tackle Winston Justice, DT Trevor Laws, and LB Stewart Bradley are also listed as inactives, according to NBC Philadelphia’s John Clark.
Kevin Kolb will get the start against the Cowboys, and all sorts of Eagles will get some extra playing time heading into Philadelphia’s playoff game against either the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, or Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
