Jackson told his players that losing Al Davis hurt him more than they knew, but Jackson also knew that Davis loved his players and his coaches. That’s why “Al Davis had his hands on that ball,” Jackson said, referring to the interception Huff had to end the game. The team kept of fighting despite all the problems they had, because “that is what Raiders do.”
“There’s nothing like winning,” Jackson told his team, and we all know Davis was fond of the team motto, “Just win, baby.”

Tim Tebow almost completed a comeback victory over the San Diego Chargers on Sunday afternoon, but his Hail Mary pass ultimately landed as an incompletion. However, the loss is irrelevant. The question for the Broncos is who will be the starting quarterback going forward.
This is a story that will carry on for two weeks since the Broncos are on a bye. Interestingly, the Broncos will face the Miami Dolphins on the road on Oct. 23. The two teams almost completed an Orton trade once the lockout ended, but draft pick compensation and a restructured contract ended any chance of that.

Just when it looked like the Denver Broncos would be depending on Tim Tebow to win the game with his legs, the second-year quarterback tossed a touchdown pass to running back Knowson Moreno. The 28-yard pass cut the San Diego Chargers’ lead to 28-26.
Asking for success on a second pass may have been too much to ask, however. Tebow and Brandon Lloyd failed to connect on a two-point conversion that would have tied the game with just over three minutes to play.

As the Broncos have struggled, fan outcry to start second-year quarterback Tim Tebow has been tremendous. One fan went so far as to take out a billboard suggesting that Tebow get the nod at starting quarterback.
