Eagles Vs Giants Final Score: Vince Young Keeps Philadelphia’s Playoff Hopes Alive
The Eagles didn’t start the game out looking great as Young threw a couple of easily-intercepted footballs, but the former starting quarterback calmed down when it mattered. Young finished the game 258 passing yards and two touchdowns after completing 23 of his 36 passing attempts.

X-rays on Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson’s injured left ankle were negative, with the team calling it a sprain. Peterson left Sunday’s matchup with the Oakland Raiders in the second quarter after landing awkwardly at the end of the run. The Vikings running back was taken to the locker room on a cart a short time later for x-rays and further tests.
According to head coach Leslie Frazier, Peterson did not suffer a fracture, but further tests are needed to determine the extent of the ankle injury.

The Atlanta Falcons do not have rookie wide receiver Julio Jones for this game, but they seem to be managing just fine with the other players. Matt Ryan found tight end Tony Gonzalez for a 17-yard touchdown in the first quarter. That put Atlanta on the board first.
In the second quarter, Atlanta kicked two more field goals, and they headed into the locker room leading by a score of 13-3 at the half. Matt Ryan was 10-for-14 with 104 yards passing and a touchdown. Running back Michael Turner had 73 rushing yards on 10 carries.

The Seattle Seahawks lead the St. Louis Rams by a field goal, 10-7 at the half. Both teams limped into this game having suffered a disproportionate amount of injuries to their starting roster. Particularly hard hit were the offensive lines, and the stat sheet reflects that. Seattle quarterback Tarvaris Jackson has been sacked four times, and Rams running back Steven Jackson has managed just 25 rushing on 10 attempts.
Seattle has been intercepted twice, and the Rams were able to convert one of those interceptions into seven points. Sam Bradford hit wide receiver Brandon Lloyd for a 30-yard touchdown. Seattle struck back in the second quarter. Jackson connected with Sidney Rice for a 14-yard touchdown. Seattle then kicked a field goal with three seconds left in the half following a Rams pass interference penalty that took them to the one-yard line.

GREEN BAY, WI - NOVEMBER 20: Aaron Rodgers #12 of the Green Bay Packers throws against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lambeau Field on November 20, 2011 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. (Photo by Matthew Stockman/Getty Images) Getty ImagesRodgers threw for 299 yards and three touchdowns, but completed an uncharacteristically low 23 of his 34 throws, and tossed a late interception that kept the Bucs in the game until the final minutes.
This wasn’t the sort of dominant win that will convince pundits that Green Bay is going to go undefeated. But with it, the Packers need just six more Ws to finish the regular season with a spotless record.

Three-and-outs are not very common for the Green Bay Packers this season. In their first possession of the game against Tampa Bay today, the Buccaneers had Aaron Rodgers and company backed up at their own 21-yard-line and punting it away. Thanks to a quick thinking move from punter Tim Masthay they ended up with a new set of downs.
Tampa got a defender through the line on the punt. Seeing a white jersey bearing down on him, Masthay pulled in the ball and made a break for it. Then, he fumbled it and recovered the fumble at the Packers’ 27-yard-line. Despite the Keystone Kops moment, it ended up giving the Packers a first down. Check out the video of the Masthay’s run.
