The Green Bay Packers are still undefeated this season, but will face one of their tougher opponents on Thanksgiving afternoon when they visit the Detroit Lions. The Packers were double-digit favorites in their past few games, but the Week 12 NFL odds and lines are predicting a much closer game between the NFC North foes.
NFL Odds And Lines Week 12: Packers Vs. Lions
The Green Bay Packers are the favorites for the Thanksgiving Day game against the Detroit Lions, but the spread isn’t as wide as some may have guessed.

The week's opening line favored Aaron Rodgers and the Packers by a full touchdown, but quite a few sites have dropped it just slightly according to the Odds Sharks database. Considering three of Green Bay's past four games have been within nine points at the final whistle, the smaller spread certainly makes sense.
The over-under is an interesting bet this week as well. Vegas opened it at a robust 56 points, which would normally be too high to be worth betting on the over, but these two teams have shown that they are able to put points in bunches -- and may need to this week as they work to keep up with eachother.
