Thanksgiving Football: Aaron Rodgers To Greg Jennings Gives Packers Lead Over Lions

The over/under on the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers Thanksgiving day football game was 55 points but it took nearly 25 minutes of game time before someone got on the board. The Packers take a 7-0 lead just under five minutes remaining in the first half when Aaron Rodgers hit Greg Jennings from three yards out.

The Packers touchdown was set up on this Clay Matthews interception of a Matthew Stafford pass, which was returned to the Lions' 13-yard line.

So far, that Matthews interception is the play of the game.

Believe it or not, that was the first touchdown the Packers have scored in the last seven quarters against the Lions defense.

Check out our Packers blog, Acme Packing Company, for more on the Packers and head on over to Pride of Detroit for more on the Lions. Here’s the entire Thanksgiving day football schedule and all the NFL odds and lines for the Week 12 games.
