The Miami Dolphins were once believed to be the front-runners for Denver Broncos QB Kyle Orton but decided to make another move agreeing to terms with QB Matt Moore.
Kyle Orton’s Bonus Hits; Trade May Be Unlikely Now
So who will trade for Orton now?
Apparently, no one. Andrew Brandt of National Football Post reports that because of a bonus paid to Orton he could be sticking around in Denver.
Kyle Orton's $1.5 million roster bonus activated at 4p et. Broncos unlikely to trade after making that commitment.
So...it's Orton's show in Denver? He was running the first team at Broncos practice this week and it makes you wonder what the Broncos plan is for him. He's set to make over $8 million in 2011 and, with QB Tim Tebow in the fold, we're not quite sure which direction they'll head.
Orton was at one point considered a done deal to be traded somewhere. Apparently, it’s no longer such a sure thing.
