Nnamdi Asomugha Lands With Philadelphia Eagles, According To Reports
His new team, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, will be the Philadelphia Eagles. They landed the big fish.
Talk about unexpected. There was a mystery team that emerged late in the process and no one seemed to know who it was. Apparently that was the Eagles.
The Eagles acquired CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie in the QB Kevin Kolb trade earlier this week so they’ll enter the 2011 season with some serious talent in the secondary.
Asomugha was the top free agent target on the market and it’s been reported that he’s expected to sign a deal in the $12-14 million per year range.
