The Seattle Seahawks will look to earn a second win of the 2011 NFL preseason in their Week 3 matchup against the Denver Broncos at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Saturday. Seattle's still looking for a passing game in the post-Matt Hasselbeck era, and none of the quarterbacks competing for a starting job — Tarvaris Jackson, Charlie Whitehurst, and Josh Portis — have really impressed in preseason play, and Jackson's pick-six against his Minnesota Vikings in Week 2 put the Seahawks in a hole they couldn't dig out of. Seattle's defense, on the other hand, has done well, allowing no points in the first quarter.
Seahawks Vs. Broncos: Game Time, TV Schedule, Position Battles And More
Tim Tebow’s slipped well back of his dream of being a starting quarterback in the NFL. The Seahawks, meanwhile, hope they have a starter on their roster.
The Broncos will continue a preseason dominated by a quarterback controversy involving backup Tim Tebow. Tebow should be Denver's No. 2 quarterback behind Kyle Orton for Saturday's game after slipping to No. 3 behind Brady Quinn in Week 2. Denver's defense will be looking to keep improving: the injury-depleted unit gave up 24 points to the Cowboys in Week 1, then conceded just 10 points to the Bills in Week 2.
