Saints Vs. Raiders Score: Pierre Thomas Vaults Into End Zone For 14-7 New Orleans Lead

The New Orleans Saints are a perfect 2-for-2 on drives in their Sunday night game against the Oakland Raiders. After Mark Ingram rushed into the end zone during the game's opening drive, Drew Brees directed another drive down the field that saw another running back punch the ball into the end zone for a 14-7 lead.

Brees found Jimmy Graham and Robert Meachem for a 23-yard reception each to lead the Saints deep into Raiders territory. A nine-yard pass to Marques Colston put them at the goal line. After an Oakland timeout, Pierre Thomas leaped over the scrum at the line of scrimmage for the one-yard touchdown.

At the end of the first quarter, the Saints lead the Raiders, 14-7.
