Saints Vs. Raiders Score: Sebastian Janikowski 57-Yard Field Goal Cuts Into New Orleans Lead

The Oakland Raiders cut into the New Orleans Saints lead with a 57-yard field goal by Sebastian Janikowski late in the second quarter. However, the Raiders wasted a great chance at scoring with a costly offensive pass interference penalty. They are down, 17-10.

Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell had dumped a three-yard pass off to Taiwan Jones, who broke away and brought the Raiders to within five yards of the end zone. However, Brandon Myers delivered an across-the-body block, resulting in an offensive pass interference call. Campbell came up short on 3rd-and-14, connecting with Derek Hagan for just eight yards. Janikowski came in for the field goal, nailing it down the middle from 57 yards out.

Earlier on the drive, Campbell had a pass deflected by a Saints defensive lineman. The ball wound up in offensive tackle Stephon Heyer's hands, which he ran for a 14-yard gain.
