The Denver Broncos enter Sunday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals with a loss to the Oakland Raiders on the book, but that won't prevent them from being favorites at home this weekend. The opening odds, according to Odds Shark, had the Broncos as 5-1/2 point favorites over the Bengals, which might seem a bit high at first glance. Since then the odds have fallen to 3-1/2 points, making this a much closer game in the eyes of the odds-makers.
NFL Odds Week 2: Bengals Vs. Broncos
The Denver Broncos are 3-1/2 point favorites over the Cincinnati Bengals, which places this game as a close call among odds-makers.
The Broncos have plenty of issues that could lead to the Bengals pulling off the win. Injuries to cornerback Champ Bailey, wide receiver Brandon Lloyd, running back Knowshon Moreno and defensive end Elvis Dumervil prevented them from participating on practice on Wednesday. Then there's the 800-pound gorilla in the room of Kyle Orton underperforming, giving way to chants of "We want Tebow!"
However, the Bengals aren't without their own issues. Rookie quarterback Andy Dalton, who left Sunday's game with a wrist injury, was limited in practice on Wednesday, taking snaps but not throwing the ball in a 30-minute session. Bruce Gradkowski relieved him and found A.J. Green for a 41-yard touchdown in the second half.
