The Philadelphia Eagles were up early despite missing Michael Vick, LeSean McCoy, and DeSean Jackson, but Tony Romo threw for 303 yards and three touchdowns to bring the Dallas Cowboys back from a double-digit deficit.
Dallas Cowboys fans examine effects of slow starts

US PRESSWIREThe slow starts are becoming troublesome for a team with playoff aspirations, as One.Cool.Customer of Blogging The Boys notes, as teams with the lead are generally harder to beat.

US PRESSWIREMaclin has been held to 55 yards receiving or less in all but three games this season. He has now been held out of the end zone in three straight games. Avant’s big day came off a two-game absence due to a hamstring injury.
Fantasy Impact: Suffice it to say, Maclin can only be considered a WR3 or Flex option at best in any fantasy format, at this point. His athleticism makes him a breakout threat on a weekly basis. Unfortunately, he has been more bust than boom this season.

US PRESSWIREFantasy Impact: Celek has been a pretty consistent fantasy tight end for owners this season (though he was coming off a season-low two receptions in Week 12). His inability to find the end zone hampers his value in standard formats, however. Celek should be considered a low-end starter in PPR leagues, and a decent backup otherwise. With fantasy playoffs underway, there is chance he doesn’t see your starting lineup the rest of the year.

Tom PenningtonFantasy Impact: Brown has been absolutely sensational for an Eagles squad in desperate need of a bright spot. He has to be considered a starting fantasy option in all formats going forward, unless you think back-to-back big performances are somehow a fluke. Dallas had been giving up just 4.1 yards per carry on the year, so there is little reason to doubt Brown at this point.
Now, if only he could figure out how to hold onto the ball.

Eagles drop 8th straight on Tony Romo’s night

US PRESSWIREBrown’s fumble spoiled a really nice night for the Eagles’ replacement squad: the rookie starting in place of LeSean McCoy had over 100 yards and two touchdowns in the first half before finishing with 169 yards, while Foles had 251 yards passing with a touchdown and no picks in his third start. But the numbers were for naught as there just wasn’t enough defense to snap the Eagles’ losing streak.

Henery nails franchise record 20th straight FG
This isn’t altogether surprising: Henery set a college record for accuracy at Nebraska, hitting 89.5 percent of his kicks for the Cornhuskers earning him a fourth-round pick in 2011 - high for a kicker. He’s been worth it, setting a rookie record for accuracy by hitting 24 of his 27 kicks, and his two seasons in the league have been the most accurate by an Eagles kicker ever.

US PRESSWIREHe also added three receptions for 16 yards. It’s clear Dallas’ offense moves better with Murray on the field.
While Murray doesn’t look like he’s 100 percent, he’s already paying off for owners who were brave enough to start him this week. As long as he doesn’t suffer any setbacks with his foot, Murray should be in for an impressive night overall.

US PRESSWIREWith LeSean McCoy still out due to a concussion, Bryce Brown continues to handle the majority of the workload in the Eagles backfield. The rookie running back is going off once again in Week 13, rushing for 78 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries midway through the second quarter.
Brown has already doubled McCoy’s touchdown total in 2012 with four scores now in his last two games.

Enterprising marketers know that Rob Ryan’s defensive play sheet has a nice open spot on the back of it, just waiting for an advertisement to fill the void. For this week’s game between the Cowboys and Eagles, the Dallas defensive coordinator is pitching Houston alt rock band Blue October.
Dallas was 1-3 in the month of October too.

ElsaFantasy Impact: There is still no timetable for the return of Vick or McCoy. With the Eagles season all but over, it makes sense that they will take their time and not rush back either of their offensive stars. The Eagles may hold Vick out for the rest of the season to get a good look at rookie QB Foles.

Layne MurdochFantasy Take: No Dallas running back besides Murray should be the only Cowboys in the backfield owned in fantasy leagues, but this does not seem like the best bet to start him after sitting out for so long. However, it’s very possible that he goes off against a struggling Eagles team.

Chris TrotmanIf the Cowboys can pull this game out of the fire, they will still have some hope to make the playoffs as a wild-card team. For Philadelphia, it’s all about respect at this point.
Meet the Dallas Cowboys
Same story, different year for Dallas. Once again, the Cowboys were touted as a team to watch in the offseason, only to come out and be exactly who they have been for years.

Tom PenningtonSunday Night Football features a divisional match-up pitting the Philadelphia Eagles against the Dallas Cowboys in an NFC East rivalry. The two teams last played in Week 10, a 38-23 Cowboys win in Philadelphia. The match-up is lacking it’s usual cache, both teams sporting losing records, but a Dallas win could put them back on the fringe of the playoff hunt.
Dallas (5-6) had won two in a row, creeping back up to .500 before losing to the Washington Redskins last Sunday. Tony Romo passed for 441 yards in that game, but the Cowboys gained only 35 yards rushing, turned the ball over three times, and were generally unable to stop Washington quarterback Robert Griffin III, who threw for 304 yards and four touchdowns.
