Denver Broncos outside linebacker Von Miller is all set to return from his suspension on Sunday, adding another formidable weapon to the best team in the NFL.
Broncos vs. Colts: Von Miller returns from suspension
The outside linebacker is bigger and faster as he prepares to return Sunday against the Colts.
Miller is coming off a dominant 2012 season, recording 18.5 sacks with six forced fumbles and a pick-six. However, he was suspended six games in the 2013 season for violating the league's substance abuse policy. Miller has spent his time off adding 15 pounds of muscle and focusing on his cardiovascular conditioning, according to Lindsay Jones of USA Today.
"I felt a lot stronger, quicker and faster," Miller said. "It's not like I'm running 100 yards or 400 yards, so I definitely felt good."
The Broncos possess the league's most dangerous offense, but the defense has been exposed at times. While tops in the NFL against the run, the Broncos are surrendering a league-worst 337.7 yards per game through the air and are tied for No. 11 in the league with 17 sacks on the season.
The Broncos face the 4-2 Indianapolis Colts on Sunday Night Football, with kickoff set for 8:30 p.m. ET and coverage on NBC.
